samenvatting: Feminist spaces have, for the longest time, maintained a close link with the idea that the "personal is political" (Hanisch 1969) - referring to the interdependent relationship between the personal self and the political system that the self is based in. Both the personal self and the political self interact, modify, create, and mold each other. While this interaction is claimed to be embodied in feminist organizations, it is often absent in their praxis. In our observations, we note how personal "cis-terhoods" supersede the political "sisterhoods" with a reduction of the political to the personal. In today's world, where an increasing "gender critical" and trans-exclusionary feminism is taking precedence within progressive movements, it is important for people within organizing spaces to take account of our own actions. The objective should be to not replicate the exclusions that we have been subjected to inside our own safe spaces and feminist groups.

samenvatting: English and Welsh law only explicitly criminalised non-consensual homosexual activities with the Sexual Offences Act (1967). This thesis demonstrates how non-consensual acts can be identified in the past when all homosexual activity was illegal, by examination of court records and newspaper reporting of criminal trials in late eighteenth and nineteenth century London. Existing historiography has uncovered a huge quantity of homosexual acts occurring in the capital in this period, but historical literature on sexual violence has largely ignored the experiences of men. Therefore, this thesis is the first full-length study to focus specifically on sexual assaults alleged between men. Evidence is explored through the multitude of offences where it appeared, including sexual crimes but also theft and other offences, heard in courtrooms ranging from the summary courts to the Old Bailey and beyond, demonstrating that sexual violence between men was exposed at all levels of the criminal justice system. Furthermore, this thesis considers the discourse of sexual violence in these sources, specifically the terminology used to describe it which rarely differed from consensual homosexual acts, and that frequent elements often appeared in the narratives of victims and perpetrators. It also assesses what these records can tell us about patterns of sexual violence, and finds that most instances consisted of unwanted touching on the genitals alleged to have occurred at night in spaces connected with male homosexuality between men of relatively similar age and social status. Moreover, this thesis examines what the courts thought of different types of prosecutions, exposing the reasons for conviction and sentences, for example heightened physical violence and the presence of witnesses, and that convicted men were rarely treated differently from the norm in terms of post-trial outcomes.

Vandaar: Trouwen voor iedereen! We wandelen langs 20 bijzondere LGBTQIAP-locaties , waaronder uiteraard het stadhuis waar de burgermeester de eerste 'homohuwelijken' voltrok. We zijn trots deze mijlpaal vorm te mogen geven en we hopen op veel gelukkige liefdes in de toekomst!

samenvatting: Der Stadtplatz umschließende, engebaute Marienviertel der Berliner Altstadt bestand vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg aus über 140 meist kleinteiligen Grundstücken mit Ämtern und Markthallen, Wohn-. Buro-, Geschäfts- und Warenhäusern, viele von ihnen bis 1933 in jüdischem Besitz. Auf einem Hinterhof der Heidereutergasse, Ecke Rosenstraße, stand die Alte Synagoge, die zu ihrer Zeit als älteste eigenständige Gemeindesynagoge Berlins eine der größten Synagogenbauten in Deutschland war. Die Alte Synagoge wurde 1938 geschändet, einige Jahre später bei einem alliierten Luftangriff beschädigt und nach Kriegsende angerissen. Als einziges historisches Gebäude vermittelt heute die mittelalterliche St. Marienkirche am nachdrücklichsten ine Eindruck davon, dass es in dem nach iht benannten Stadtviertel einst ganz anders ausgesehen haben muss. Was heute kaum noch jemand weiß: In der Marienkirche fand am 22. Juli 2017 die erste kirchliche Trauung eines gleichgeschlechtlichen Paares in Berin statt. Was aber noch weniger bekannt ist : Schrag gegenüber der Marienkirche, quasi auf der andere Seite des Martin-Luther-Denkmals, stand einst das Hotel-Restaurant "Zum Alstadter Hof". Es diente Anfang des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts über einen Zeitraum von etwa fünfzehn Jahren als Versammlungslokal des Wissenschaftlich-humanitären Komitees (WhK), der ersten LSBTIQ+ Interessenorganisation der Welt, und hatte offenbar so gar nichts mit den subkulturellen Vereinslokalen schwul-lesbischer Gruppierungen der späteren 1970er Jahre gemein.

beschrijving: Ronde, gele sticker met zwarte letters. In het midden het logo: J&O. Het 'staartje' van de & loopt in een pijl door de O. Onder het logo het webadres: 'jongenout.nl'. Jong&Out is in 2007 opgestart door COC Nederland en een groep lesbische, homo, bi, transgender en intersekse (LHBTI)-jongeren tot en met achttien. De directe aanleiding was het feit dat dat jaar voor het eerst een 16-min boot meevoer tijdens de Amsterdamse Gay Pride. Sinds de start met de eerste Jong&Out groep in Amsterdam is het netwerk van meetings locaties gegroeid van een netwerk van meer dan tweeëntwintig meetinglocaties. Ook het aantal leden op de website groeit elke dag.

Draagtas 'Sociëteit Apollo Rotterdam'

beschrijving: Zwarte katoenen draagtas. Op de voorkant is een hart in de kleuren van de progress flag afgebeeld en er staat in witte hoofdletters 'Samen Oost'. Apollo was een Rotterdamse homojongerenvereniging, opgericht in 1968. De vereniging beschikte over een eigen sociëteitsruimte, waar een wekelijkse café-avond, themacafés en gespreksgroepen werden gehouden. Daarnaast gaf Apollo voorlichting op scholen en gaf zij van 1979-1988 het clubblad Vijgeblad uit, de voorloper van homojongerenmagazine Expreszo. In 2014 werd Apollo opgeheven.
