IHLIA LGBTI Heritage is located in the OBA Oosterdok in Amsterdam. On the 3rd floor it has its information desk, reference books on LGBTQIA+ history and exhibition space.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to know more about the origin of the unique archive, the extensive collection and our services, a tour of the IHLIA Plaza (on the 3rd floor) and \/ or presentation by one of our information specialists is always possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The maximum group size is 15 people (the group will then be split) and a minimum of 5 people. If you want to come with a larger group, let us know and we will see how we can organize it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday and Thursday only (max. 3 per week)
<\/strong>Tours take place exclusively on Tuesdays<\/em> <\/strong>and Thursdays <\/em><\/strong>within our opening hours 10.00-17.00 hrs. The duration of a tour varies between 30 and 60 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although OBA Oosterdok is wheelchair accessible in the public area, such as the IHLIA plaza with the exhibition and information desk (3rd floor), this is not true of the non-public area where the actual archives are located. We also have no control over any modifications to the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, it is also not possible to take a tour of our archives with a guide dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tour takes place Monday to Thursday from 12.00 to 17.00 and varies from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please send us a message with your registration and any wishes well before the desired date of the tour, at least 3 weeks. Mail to info@ihlia.nl.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will then contact you to discuss the options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tours are free for students. For other groups, we ask for a donation to the Friends of IHLIA Foundation<\/a>. Please transfer
your own chosen amount to NL65 TRIO 0320 4750 34 in the name of Stg. Friends of IHLIA. Put in the description ‘Donation tour’.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
