Marian zoomde in op lesbische subculturen, maar haar foto\u2019s laten ook zien wie er in deze periode nog meer vochten voor lhbtiq+-rechten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De foto\u2019s van Marian fungeren als een genuanceerd historisch verslag, een bijdrage aan ons collectieve geheugen en begrip. Ze nodigen ons uit om in hun wereld te stappen en na te denken over hoe we ons verhouden tot het huidige activisme en de manieren waarop we het documenteren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-johannes-bg-alt-1-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">Bij de opening van de expositie nodigen we je uit om met elkaar in gesprek te gaan over activisme, fotografie en herinnering. Samen geven we hier een creatieve draai aan.<br><br><strong>Deel v\u00f3\u00f3r 12 juli een persoonlijke foto die voor jou een moment van activisme vertegenwoordigt. Neem dit zo breed als je wilt! We zullen de foto\u2019s afdrukken*, waarna je jouw bijschrift kan toevoegen en de foto kan decoreren, of hoe je de betekenis van de foto dan ook creatief wil uitdrukken.<\/strong><br><br>Met jouw toestemming zullen we de foto toevoegen aan de tentoonstelling en\/of aan ons IHLIA-archief. Marian focused on lesbian subcultures, but her photos also zoom out to reveal who else was in the fight for LGBTIQ+ rights in this period, how they dressed, their perspectives, their strategies, and how they paved the way for the Pride celebrations we know today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marian\u2019s photos act as a nuanced historical record, a public service to our collective memory and understanding. They invite us to step into their world and consider how today\u2019s activism, and the ways we document it, compares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-johannes-bg-alt-1-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">At the opening of the exhibition we invite you to engage with the intersection of activism, photography, and memory through conversation and hands-on creative work.<br><br><strong>Before the 12<sup>th<\/sup> of July, share with us your digital copies of personal photos that represent moments of activism to you. Take this as broadly as you\u2019d like!
